The Emeritus Automobiles of the Valley Forge Region

1 : holding after retirement an honorary title corresponding to that held last during active service
2 : retired from an office or position; professor emeritus

In our case, automobiles that have been awarded First Place five (5) times at our judged shows. Such automobiles, while still registered for the show field, are generally not judged and are labeled as "Emeritus - for display only". The owner of an Emeritus automobile, however, may continue to have his car competitively judged at his discretion.
